Spring Conference

The Reform UK Spring Conference was held on Saturday 24th February in the Exhibition Hall at Doncaster Racecourse.  An intrepid band of our Harrogate and Knaresborough members attended the conference and filed a brief report.

The exhibition hall was packed with delegates from across the north of England, at a guess, 2,000+ attendees and a broad spectrum of ages and former political persuasions reflecting the 700% increase in membership over the last couple of years.   All people brought together to unite in response to the erosion of our way of life, personal privacy and the attacks on our British culture and values.

A fast-paced event with eleven excellent speakers across the day, Simon Danczuk, Richard Tice, Dr David Bull, Paul Oakden, Ann Widdecombe etc all here if you’ve only got time for a couple then Dr David Bull on the health service and Ann Widdecombe on borders and immigration are blistering.

All speakers were excellent, both entertaining and educational using lots of facts and  showing mastery of their subjects eg.

NHS, did you know, the actual waiting list is not 7m, it’s nearly 20m, because they fiddle the figures.

The idiocy of the dash for net zero – At Drax power station they are burning wood imported from America, capturing the CO2 and injecting it into the ground, whilst next door is a CO2 generation system making CO2 to pump into commercial greenhouses growing food.

There was a real buzz around the conference, loads of enthusiasm and energy and an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals as we prepare for the imminent election.
